Private events are the format for organizations that want to certify a whole team at once. The cohort is yours, the schedule is yours, and the lab work maps to the systems your team actually defends.
You pick the delivery shape. Live private cohorts bring a senior instructor to your training room for five consecutive days. Online private cohorts deliver the same five-day intensive through a virtual classroom dedicated to your team. Both formats use the same instructors, the same hosted lab environment, and the same exam preparation track.
We have delivered private cohorts into DoD, federal civilian, financial services, healthcare, and critical infrastructure environments. Every engagement starts with a mutual NDA and a scope review that maps the curriculum onto your cloud providers, your identity stack, your detection tooling, and your compliance regime.
Cohort sizes between 8 and 30 work best. Below 8, individual seats on a public cohort are usually a better fit. Above 30, we split into two parallel cohorts with two instructors so the lab attention stays high.

Live private cohort
A senior instructor deploys to your facility for the full five days. Best for security teams that work in the same building and want the energy of a real room. Travel and lodging billed separately.
Online private cohort
Same five days, virtual classroom reserved for your team. Best for distributed teams across multiple offices or timezones. Lower cost because there is no instructor travel. Same outcomes, same lab environment.
From scope call to certified.
Most private engagements run six to twelve weeks from first call to delivery. The timeline below is typical, though it can compress for urgent cases.
Scope call
Forty-five minutes with your security lead. We learn your stack, compliance regime, team experience level, and target dates.
MNDA + SOW
Mutual NDA signed. Statement of work and customization scope document delivered. Cohort dates locked.
Lab customization
The instructor team adapts labs to mirror your environment. We share the customized syllabus for your review before delivery.
Delivery
Five-day intensive live or online. Daily debrief with your security lead. Recordings provided for online cohorts.
Certification
Team schedules CAS-005 exams through Pearson VUE. Office hours, retake support, and 90 days of lab access continue.

Do you support classified or air-gapped environments?
Yes. We have delivered into facilities with classified-handling requirements and air-gapped lab restrictions. Labs run in your environment when network connectivity is not permitted, and instructors hold the relevant clearances when the engagement requires it.
Can we run a hybrid cohort, some live and some remote?
Yes, but only when the remote attendees can fully participate in the lab debriefs. We typically cap remote attendance at 30 percent of a hybrid cohort to keep the room cohesive. Beyond that we recommend two separate cohorts.
How much customization is typical?
The default is to swap our reference cloud provider for yours, our reference IAM stack for yours, and our reference detection tooling for yours. Beyond that, customization is billed by scope. Most engagements do not need more than the default.
Are you on GSA?
Yes. We hold a GSA schedule for training services and can deliver under most federal contracting vehicles. Federal engagements are billed net 30 after delivery.
